You probably remember Starkillers debut release on Spinnin’ Records, ‘Discoteka’, which went straight to number one on Beatport. ‘Cantina’ is set to follow! The Mau5 has decided it was time to collaborate again with Chris Lake, for a new cut called ‘I Said.’ The results are in the audio form of a massive tech house monster, complete with plenty of peaks and valleys, booming bass and big room sounds. ‘Michael Woods’ provides the remix, which has become the first Essential New Tune for 2010 on Pete Tong’s radio show. You know you want this!

DJ Hell’s ‘U Can Dance’ is an interpretation of an unreleased Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music) song, but it’s one that reflects a perfect melding of two distinct personalities, a record that sounds as if the voice and music were made for each other. On ‘U Can Dance’, Hell and Ferry have similarly pulled out all the stops for the remixes, gathering up work from the Grammy-nominated producer Carl Craig, DFA mainstay Tim Goldsworthy and pop electro superstars Simian Mobile Disco.
